Students must be enrolled in and completed the SYA program with the DLC by April 1 of the current school year in order to be eligible. Contact your course counsellor for more details.
Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship (SYA) Industry Scholarships are valued at $1,000 and awarded to selected, eligible high school graduates throughout the province who have completed the SYA program and will be pursuing a career in the skilled trades. Students are nominated for SYA Industry Scholarships each April by selected provincial high schools.
Nomination forms are sent to schools, who are asked to nominate one SYA graduate. The graduate's achievements and dedication to pursuing a career in the skilled trades are considered as scholarship recipients are chosen.
