November 16, also known as Louis Riel Day, marks the anniversary of his 1885 execution. Discover more about Louis Riel, the 364 km highway in Saskatchewan named in his honor, and the Saskatchewan artist who crafted metal sculptures celebrating the Métis contributions to our history.
